The weather forecast on the website I am looking at right now shows SUNNY all day with a high in the mid 80s. I guess the beach will be the place to be today. Seeing all the activity on facebook and other websites, it appears things will be rocking this weekend for the July 4th Holiday. Are you in North Myrtle Beach or planning to head this way today?
Things to do on Thursday, July 1st in NMB
- The BIG FREE Concert in Ocean Drive features the Blackwater Band. Get there early and set up your chairs if you want to be close to the stage. It is going to be packed in down at the Horseshoe for this week’s edition of the Music on Main Series from the city of North Myrtle Beach. Plan to grab a drink at the OD Pavilion. Eat at HOTOs and see the show from one of the picnic tables out front.
- Thursday! The Pork Chop Day Lunch Special at Captain Archie’s is really popular and definitely one of my favorites. Those chops are very good grilled, but I recommend you get them FRIED. Archie’s has Tammy’s Tangent playing on the stage tonight at 6.
- Deckerz on Main also has music tonight. NTranz Duo is playing at 7. Have you ever had the Bacon Cheesburger at Deckerz? Today would be a good day. It is the featured special. You should also try the onion rings!
