My NMB Weather Update updated 3-26-2021
Looking for updates on North Myrtle Beach Weather? It looks to be partly sunny today.
Are you ready to get back to NMB? Plan a trip to the beach this Summer. North Myrtle Beach is the Best!
The weather and temperatures in NMB are pretty mild compared to most parts of the country. The average monthly temperatures for NMB is over 50 degrees even in the colder months. Of course, if you are a sun worshiper and like to get that dark tan laying on the beach all day, the summer months would probably be your time for visiting. I have been in the ocean as late as October. If you want to take advantage of the off-season rates around here, you can still enjoy the beach. It be cold at the beach, it may be wet a the beach… Guess what “It is still a day at the beach!”
What to do in North Myrtle Beach when it rains?
You made your plans for a beach vacation months in advance. There is no way to forecast rain that far out. If you have come to the beach during a rainy time, you may be looking for things to do while it is raining. Like most cities, within a few miles, North Myrtle Beach has movie theaters, bowling alleys, and restaurants that are safe from the wet weather. A rainy day may be the perfect time to take in Ripley’s Aquarium a short drive south to Myrtle Beach. Another big activity would be shopping at the numerous outlet malls in the areas. There are a couple of Tanger Outlet Malls in Myrtle Beach. The Factory stores in Carolina Forest right off 501 North is another popular shopping spot for visitors to the Grand Strand.
There are several theaters in the Myrtle Beach area that feature live shows of dancers, singers, and theatrical productions. Many groups will come to NMB and the Grand Strand just for these shows. Be sure to check out the schedules for the Alabama Theatre or Carolina Opry. If you like to see those famous impersonators, Legends in Concert at Broadway at the Beach would be the show for you! Other big shows that are fun for the whole family would be the dinner shows at Pirate’s Voyage and Medieval Times. Make sure you go hungry, the meal proportions are pretty BIG!
