I am gearing up for a big day of running up and down Ocean Boulevard getting ready for another round of North Myrtle Beach Vacationers. We have a couple big Saturdays left this season. It has been a great summer despite all the short staffing issues we are experiencing at the beach.

• The big event today is going to be Captain Poo’s Fundraiser at Captain Archie’s from Noon to 6pm. Its going to be a big day to support this icon of North Myrtle Beach. Live Entertainment, Silent Auctions, and LIVE Auctions. Plan to be there if you are in town.
• This morning, tune to Riptide Radio to hear Jim Quick’s Swamp Soul Show at 9am – the rest of the weekend air time schedule is listed at swampsoul.com.
• The Superjock will be playing in the front room tonight. Join Jay Kinlaw at Fat Harold’s. Eddie Anderson will be in the back room. The Shag City Grill will be open for lunch at 11am.
