- If you like beach music, plan to join us at the Deck of HOTOs at 11am. Mike Worley will be LIVE on 94.9 The Surf to announce the 2021 Nominations for the Carolina Beach Music Awards. Joining Mike will be Peter Carpenter, Bo Gilbert ( that’s Me! Bo the Webguy ), Jim Morgan, Jim Shafer and the Professor, Harold Ballard. Preppy Pirate Outfitters will be there selling Official 94.9 the SURF Gear ( shirts, hats, big flags and lawn flags). If you can’t be there today, be sure to listen in on the radio at 949thesurf.com
- Lady Shaggers, Jackie is teaching female footwork at 10am. Charlie and Jackie will be teaching a shag workshop at 11am – Hitting the Breaks. Learn what to do when the music stops.
- Jay Kinlaw will be in the booth at the Fat Man’s House at 1pm. The Entertainers will take the stage at 2pm. Dance to the SOS DJs at Fat Harolds; John Hall, Johnny B, Bill Harper, Gene Sistare and Betty Brown are all spinnin’ tunes today at the Fat Man’s House.
- Go Hang Out with Claude Collins at the ODP from 12 to 4. Tommy Hamrick is scheduled to play from 4 to 8 at the Pavilion
- The Catalinas will be playing at the Galleon tonight – Doors Open at 7:30
