Coastal North Town Center

New Shopping Center – Opened in 2014

Coastal North Town Center Shopping Mall started opening shops in 2014 near the Cherry Grove end of the beach off Hwy 17. If you have visited the city of NMB recently, you can’t really miss it. There is a lot of excitement going on with the new stores and restaurants being added. The new shopping area gives more choices to the locals and vacationers coming to the beach. Some of the bigger stores are expected to draw both residents and visitors from the south to this area for shopping that is not available in other parts of the Grand Strand. The current list of restaurants does not include any fine dining establishments. There are several bigger chains already in the area just across the street.

The actual mall covers a big area. Some of these merchants may not be considered part of the mall, but they are close enough to mention on this page.

  1. Please look into a Cheddar’s restaurant, a Cici’s pizza,a Dairy Queen, maybe a Kohl’s or Target. Seems there are too many BBQ places.

  2. We need a JoAnn’s fabric really bad. North Myrtle Beach, S.C. is growing in leaps and bounds…Long time coming!! We are getting 2 large shopping centers here. People here do not want to drive all the way in to Myrtle Beach. We have a Hobby lobby and it is the only place for dress fabrics and crafts. They do not carry the fabrics or the sewing notions that JoAnn’s does. JoAnn’s is a great store and would do very well here.
